Hickory Smoked Mushroom Soup 
This creamy soup is made with yellow split peas, red lentils, carrots, potato, onion mushrooms double cream and a generous splash of chardonnay, a hint of garlic and freshly ground pepper. 
Crayfish Jambon with Avocado 
Fresh water crayfish accompanied with diced avocado and parma ham served with a tangy salsa sauce on a bed of baby leaves. 
Moules Marinière 
Premium Half Shell New Zealand Green lip Mussels 
cooked in their own juices drizzled with a white wine cream and Garlic jus. 
Smoked Salmon Cornet with Dill Sauce 
Scottish Salmon and cream cheese cornets with dill sauce and a garnish of red roe caviar fresh leaves and toasted whole meal bread. 
Kirkby House Pate 
Luxury Duck Liver and Pork Pâté with Orange & Cognac Liqueur 
scattered on a bed of fresh leaves, dairy butter artisan bread finished with tomato chutney and artisan bread. 

Main Courses 

Roast Turkey (Norfolk black) 
Our roasted crown of Turkey served with all the traditional trimmings, hand raised Yorkshire pudding, honey roast parsnips roast potatoes and pigs in blankets topped with rich red wine gravy. 
Roasted Fillet of Beef Wellington 
Prime Roasted beef fillet in a puff pastry case with our own rustic pate generously sliced served with fondant potato and a rich blackcurrant and Madeira wine sauce. 
Pan Seared Sea Bass 
A prime fillet of Sea Bass pan seared in dairy butter with fresh sliced lemon, served with lime risotto and roasted sweet peppers. 
Roasted Bell Peppers (V) 
A duo of Bell peppers stuffed with Old Bay seasoned rice, mushrooms shallots and sundried tomato topped with grated Taw valley mature cheddar cheese, then roasted in the oven accompanied by a Mediterranean sauce. 
“Christmas Old Fashioned Farmhouse Special” 
Kirkby House Porchetta 
Slow roasted seasoned boneless belly pork filled with herb stuffing slices of smoked back bacon and Scottish style Black Pudding drizzled with apple cider gravy and a slice of crackling on a bed of herby mash potato. 
Selection of locally produced seasonal vegetables with rosemary roasted potatoes on your table. 


Plum Pudding 
Traditional Christmas pudding steamed and topped with rum analgise jus. 
Stilton and Cheddar Slate 
Duo of Tuxford stilton, mature Taw Valley cheddar a selection of crisp biscuits and red onion chutney. 
Morello Cherry and Coconut Crumble 
Oven baked Morello Cherries in a smooth syrup covered in a traditional Crumble with a hint of coconut. 
Chocolate and Orange Cake 
Dark Chocolate on an Orange sponge with a liquid centre served with double cream or Devon custard. 
Eton Mess 
Eton mess, Double cream whipped together with meringue crumb served in a tall glass, dressed in fresh berries and cream. 
Our Own Take on Mince Pies 
Hand made filo pastry and sponge mince pie with Chantilly Cream.

To Start 

Chefs Homemade Soup 
Freshly made Broccoli and Cropwell Bishop Stilton soup tender broccoli heads and the king of blue cheese combine to make this classic soup served with Crusty bread and dairy butter. 
Kirkby House Duck and Orange Pate 
Pieces of our own smooth duck liver pate with orange scattered on a bed of fresh leaves bread and dairy butter finished with red onion chutney. 
Fruits of the Sea 
A selection of fresh sea food blanched in white wine glazed with a cream mornay dressing served on a bed a leaves. 
Golden Crumb Stuffed Jalapeno Peppers 
A real winter warmer, Jalapeno peppers stuffed with cream cheese and coated in breadcrumbs served with a salad garnish. 
Chilled Fanned Melon 
Fresh Melon chilled and fanned, drizzled with a coulis made from pure mango.

Traditional Crown of Norfolk Turkey 
Norfolk roasted turkey with stuffing and all the traditional trimmings. 
English Stuffed and Rolled Belly of Pork 
English pork with a homemade apricot stuffing & crackling apple sauce and creamy mashed potato. 
Darne of Hake Princess 
a prime filet of Hake oven baked and glazed with asparagus cream Jus. 
Chicken Royale 
Supreme of Chicken Brest seasoned and pan seared finished with Sauté Mushrooms in Poitiers sauce, flambé cream and white wine with a hint of garlic, we recommend rice or Sauté potato with this dish. 
Artisan Vegan/Vegetarian Pumpkin Seed & Chestnut Roast 
Roasted in the oven then drizzled with a blackcurrant and madeira wine sauce. 
All served with locally produced seasonal vegetables and twice cooked rosemary roasted potatoes. 


Traditional Plum Pudding 
Christmas pudding, a rich plum pudding served with vanilla custard. 
Lemon and Lime Rousse 
a delicate Rousse infused with the zest of lime and lemon on a biscuit amoretti base. 
Morello Cherry and Coconut Crumble 
Oven baked Morello Cherries in a smooth syrup covered in a traditional Crumble with a hint of coconut. 
New York Cheesecake (GF) 
Classic Vanilla flavour cheesecake accompanied with a mango coulis. 
Homemade Treacle in a Cup 
Homemade treacle sponge in a cup served with homemade custard or a scoop of homemade ice-cream.
